Our Philosophy

Our Core Curriculum

Our 21st Century Curriculum is designed to provide a sound foundation in both worldly and Islamic education to build greater choice and individualisation as the student matures towards the senior levels. At Starlight View Academy, our highly skilled teachers apply Islamic principles in every subject they teach, seamlessly integrating academic excellence with profound Islamic tradition and daily Tahfidh for our students.

Educational Stages

The Learning Journey

Early Years (Pre-School)

Our Early Years program provides the start to an exceptional and exciting learning journey. We are committed to your child’s growth, building confidence as they progress to become unique personalities. This foundation immerses children in an English & Arabic speaking environment, preparing them for future success.

Primary Stage

When young children start primary school, they bring an innate sense of curiosity, wonder, and excitement. These powerful attributes, when complemented with our Cambridge educational programs and dedicated Tahfidh sessions, allow each student to achieve remarkable academic and spiritual outcomes.

Secondary School

Starting at the age of 11, secondary education prepares students for the internationally recognised Cambridge IGCSE exams. The first three years cover a broad range of subjects including Maths, Sciences, English, and Arabic. By 14, they enter the 2-year Upper Secondary phase focused on IGCSE preparation.

Global Standards

The Cambridge Framework

Cambridge Lower Secondary

Cambridge Lower Secondary develops skills and understanding in English, mathematics, and science for the first three years of secondary education. It combines a world-class curriculum, high-quality support for teachers, and integrated assessment.

Developed with consistent standards benchmarked across thousands of students, it enables reliable structured reporting to parents and ensures that students are properly prepared for the rigorous demands of the IGCSE courses.

Cambridge Upper Secondary (IGCSE)

IGCSE is a two-year programme leading to externally set, marked, and certificated examinations from the University of Cambridge. It is the world’s most popular international qualification for 14 to 16-year-olds.

Recognised by leading universities and employers worldwide, it acts as an international passport to progression and success. At Starlight View Academy, this globally trusted framework is delivered with uncompromising quality.

Assessments

Tests & Examinations

Lower Secondary includes sets of tests: Cambridge Lower Secondary Progression Tests and Cambridge Lower Secondary Checkpoint. These assessments provide an international benchmark of student achievement, helping teachers to identify learners’ strengths and weaknesses and give advice on progression routes. In Upper Secondary, students take the internationally recognised IGCSE exams.

Due to the high standards applied at Starlight View Academy, your child will receive a high-quality level of preparation for IGCSE exams. Our highly qualified teachers provide complete information on specialised subjects, answer any questions, and reduce the psychological burden, ensuring students face exams with confidence.
